Concept design for a bridge building crossing Paris ring to connect Neuilly.
Porte Maillot is an emblematic gateway to Paris. Our project completes the square and celebrates this junction by creating a symbolic crossing arch beyond the ring road.
An arch of about 60m span crosses the ring road and create a transparent reception area.
We designed an homogeneous brise soleil façade to adapt to the Haussmann template and designed a green roof visible by reflection from the main street and topped by a deflector crown bringing winds towards a colonnade of vertical turbines, which constitute a modern and durable version of the Parisian façade typology.
